Istanbul is big

Istanbul was an eye opening experience and it was definitely a place I didn't think I would visit.  However, when life throws you a chance to do something outside of your comfort zone.  You say, "YES SIR MAY I HAVE ANOTHER!"

Stepping out of the airport, right off the bat you'll feel the immense size of the ancient city.  It's humongous, and mysterious.  Thus began my week long adventure.

These were taken from the top of the Galata tower which is in the European side of Istanbul.  Walking around the tower the city just went on and on.  There were buildings as far as the eye can see.

Nobody's business but the Turks

It's still an island town

So we are going to get snow tomorrow again, guess where I rather be?

A little sun would be nice...

Some more shots from the cemetery outside of Old San Juan.  The sculptures and tombs were quite an amazing sight.  The cemetery was very peaceful and the tombs were so old it felt like it was a portal to another time.

I kind of felt in love with this effect for some reason.

Can't imagine how they made these sculptures.
