Back from the dead with some BBQ

Just when I thought I was on a roll with these updates, my computer commits suicide and goes out of service for a week.  Funny how things work out ><

Here are some shots from the annual Big Apple BBQ festival, 5 blocks around the Madison Square Park were parked with bbq trucks and the wood flavored aroma filled the entire neighborhood.  For the whole weekend people gorged themselves on ribs, briskets, pulled pork and some blues.  Pit masters from around the country came to the city and showed off their bbq goodness.

I really like this shot of the little girl and her mother.  Makes me want to go, "Crying?  There's no crying in BBQ!" - A league of there own reference =)

While waiting in line, I crept up on these two cute angels and snapped some shots.  It was definitely a fun day and like the wise man said, "Peace Love And BBQ" ~
