An affair to "ramen"ber

More backlog of photos from last year.  These are shots from around my office.  Before I lived in NY, I only been to a handful of ramen joints.  In MD they were non existent so for years I been cut off from this noodley delight.  Now I can practically throw a rock out the window and it'll land on a ramen place.  Whenever I visit a new ramen place I always get the miso ramen.  Some guy I worked with told me that you can tell if a ramen joint is any good by their miso ramen, he might have been full of crap but it stuck with me.  The picture is from Terakawa ramen on lexington & 23rd, it's an okay place.  It's close to my office and that's about the only thing going for it.  The second picture is a Vietnamense sandwich with roast pork, pickle radishes, parsley on a baguette.  I've never had a sandwich like this before and it was delicious . Though the roast pork was very greasy the radishes and parsley does a good job of balancing the greasiness.  A nice combination of spicy, salty  and sweet and the radishes add a nice crunch to everything.  This place is also a stone throw away from my office, to think I use to eat at the super market when I was in MD...
