All big adventure starts with a small bite

My first week in NYC, it was a complete sensory overload.  Although I lived 30 minutes away from Manhattan as a teen.  I never had the freedom ,the resources or the self knowledge to enjoy the big apple as a kid.  It definitely took some getting used to after spending 4 years in Annapolis where people lounged around all day on their sailboats.  The first picture is from Meffai pizza.  Kind of cool that this was my lunch on the first day of work in NYC.  To the right is the PATH station by my house.  Confession time... I actually live in Jersey City.... it's sooooo much cheaper and I have the most amazing pho joint by my place .  The black & white is a shot of my apartment, during the first week I slept on an air mattress and my computer was on the floor.  Then it's the MetLife building which is a couple blocks from my office.  Lastly the kimchi fried rice with an egg from Woorijip, I actually had lunch there today for $3.81.... Gotta love K-Town.
